I would like to hear from single parents, we can encourage each other and offer advice if needed or just share your feelings, even if there are 2 parents in the home it can be diiffercult, but for the single parent you sometimes have to be both mom and dad and pray a whole lot. But God smiles on all of us and we need each other. praying for each other is a good thing so come by and fellowship.

Of course all parents will be welcome.

If you and other parents think it would be useful, I can create a "Christian Parenting" section on the forum.

I think having a christain single parent section would be helpful because sometimes there are those who may feel left out. Its a good idea, I agree also that step parents should be added in this area,

Not being a parent myself either, but having experienced step-parenting, or another way to say that can be 'the partner of a single parent', it sounds like a great idea to have a single parents thread.

Don't know if it would be too much to include step-parents in the same one?

From my experience, I was able to find support from a group online specifically for step-parents but not a christian one, so I really had to filter all advice and info from there through God's word.

Just a thought to add to the mix

Yeah I think thats great! I knowso many single parents and they usually ask my mom for advice. So it works fir me. I am too young to have children or to even be considered single but I still like the idea

hello,
i am in the same catagory as smily, but i do think that a parents forum would be a good idea.

im not so sure about making it exclusive to single or step parents, as i see all parents as equal and haveing the same job to do, so perhaps just a parents forum?
