In today's secular tolerance of gender divergence, there is much of it which appears in Christendom.
We can see it all around us, in the high pitched whiney "Christian music," in the effeminant architecture and decorations inside of church buildings, in the promotional materials for services and programs which are written and designed to appeal to a feminine market, in the comsumer driven preaching from the pulpits, and in the worship of children. Another gender divergent aspect of today's Church is the feminized thinking of males, both males in "leadership," and males who attend churches. The following feminized features can easily be seen church males: 1. They equate talk with action, calling both "behavior." They have really long and wordy posts. 2. They see no discrepancy in producing lots of talk with no comensurate action. 3. They like to "explain" things, even explaining their theology, in terms of what it means to themself, and how they "feel" about it, using their own little personal universe as a standard for what they should adhere to. 4. They have very sensitive feelings about their ideas, and get defensive at the slightest opposition, or get defensive at the beginning of any examination of their ideas. 5. They are not attracted to the way real men think, speak, and act, and have not a clue what that involves. 6. They like to be bossy and try to "instruct" other people how to talk and think, usually focusing on trivial issues in the process. 7. If they had a wig and a dress on, they would be quite similar to someone like "Aunt Hilda, the Librarian," a matronly and driveling small brained meddler in other peoples' business. 8. They complain about minor little insults from other people, because they are emotionally thin skinned. 9. When "discussing" anything, they get off of the original subject, and just kind of talk about whatever comes into their mind, as if it relates. 10. They always either exaggerate or try real hard to be literal, so hard they miss a lot of things which must then be explained to them. Shelli. |

i dont believe in jesus teaching nor in the fathers creation a place for gender separation/isolation/distinction as one over another. i believe that we all have equal souls, however not so equal in the learnt/wisdom.knowledge department. i believe we are viewed by god by our souls and who we are above the physical gender specific body that we use as a vehicle here on this planet that we are on at the moment. in the source of the universes eyes we are beloved souls.

maybe, and i accept that that is your belief.but to me we are all human spirit and are a spark of God's light,an effective part of God,separated from God in outer manifestation, but retaining a living connection with our ultimate source.male or female doesnt matter in the spirit.it only matters if you want babies.

oh, the proverbial 'Adam' and 'Eve' story.
yes if that is a real story then yes it would mater. but it really is just an old story and folk tale told in every culture on earth to explain our existence. if we all began with one literal man and woman, then who were all the 'others' that lived on earth-those that cain was worried would kill him without the mark of god?
