Foursquare was founded by a woman! Aimee Semple McPherson. About 1906, there was an event called the "Asuza Street Revival", which ushered in modern Pentecostalism. Mrs. McPherson was introduced to Pentecostalism shortly after that.

Our denomination is much bigger worldwide than it is in the USA. We have always been mission-minded.

New Life Community church of Manassas, VA has announced plans to merge with Foursquare. Trading in the stock of both organizations has been halted until the merger is complete. Leaders say there is no truth to the rumor of a name change to five squares (haha).

International Church of the Four Square Gospel...The Virginia's District Supervisor, Dwight Saunders, will be providing a presentation and be available for Q&A. Thursday, 15 JANUARY 2004, 7 - 8:30PM @ The Ministry Center. NLCC leadership has felt the leading to unite with this movement as a covering for our fellowship. Please plan to attend and your questions will be welcomed.

I've met Dwight Saunders. He's very dedicated and talented.

Camp Courtney is our region's Camp in Hendersonville, NC. I meet a lot of people there.

Glenn Burris used to be our pastor, then the District Supervisor, and now he's in LA. I expect he will be the next President of Foursquare.

I predict you will love being a part of this denomination. It's so very balanced.

A friend of ours Well we are a couple and they are married as well as we are......anyway we knew them in College and they were Foursquare!!!

It is very neat too!!!

Well, Foursquare is sort of all over the USA. It's bigger size-wise in the rest of the world than it is in the USA. The West Coast has the mega-churches, but there are some fairly large ones on the East Coast.

I have found it to be a VERY balanced denomination.

What part of the country do you in habit?

My family and I were going to a Foursquare Church for a while and we loved it.....that is until the leadership went mental. Then we called it the four squares and a nerd church

Since then the leadership has been booted by the headquarters

so its good again now.
Still full of squares and nerds though
