I belong to the "Foursquare" Denomination. The complete name is "International Church of the Foursquare Gospel". The foursquare comes from four basic beliefs: "The Savior, The Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, The Healer, and The Soon-Coming King."

It's Pentecostal Church with a huge focus on World Missions.  In fact, there are more members outside of the US than are in the US, and it was founded in California.

It's one of the most balanced Christian denominations that I have found. I grew up Southern Baptist, and the similarites are quite close.

Hi Jane,

Welcome!

I am a protestant, evangelical (born again) charismatic (all spiritual gifts still operate) attending a non-denominational church that is moving into becoming more charismatic.  I have been given sign gifts, tongues, interpretation, prophecy, word of knowledge.  

I am studying Hebraic roots of Christianity, I belong to Christians for Biblical Equality as I believe this is a truth that God is restoring to his church, and I am giving a presentation to the home group I attend on Marriage and Divorce in 1st Century Context, which i am posting to the web.
